Rules of entry to Croatia

Citizens of the European Union and also the USA, Canada, Israel and many other countries do not need a visa to enter Croatia (for more information, please contact the Consulate of the Republic of Croatia in your country).

At the moment Croatia is not a member of the Schengen agreement, so passport control continues to operate at Croatian borders. While entering the country a foreigner must present a passport or an identity card.

In peak season, particularly on weekends, queues may occur at some border crossings. You will be able to monitor the situation at the borders with the help of this interactive service: hak.hr/info/kamere/#GP
